Andy to play LA

Andy has taken a wild card into next week’s ATP 250 event in Los Angeles.

He becomes top seed at the Farmers Classic, with a bye into the second round.

The second seed will be defending tournament and US Open Series champion Sam Querrey who along with third and fourth seeds, Marcos Baghdatis and Feliciano Lopez, will receive first round byes.

Other stars in the field of the 84th annual Farmers Classic include Americans James Blake, Robby Ginepri and Mardy Fish as well as Ernests Gulbis, Xavier Malisse and Janko Tipsarevic.
