Andy teamed up with good friend Daniel Nestor for a players vs celebrity doubles match ahead of the Masters 1000 event in Toronto this weekend.
The two paired up against a string of celebrities, including NFL star Dominic Moore of the Tampa Bay Lightning, singer Jim Cuddy and the presenter of Canadian Idol.
Nestor may be a world No. 1 in doubles, but he still managed to tag Andy with a smash in the back.
Fortunately the pair – who exchange fantasy basketball banter daily – are still talking.
“It’s typical,” said Andy. “He’s very immature for a 37 year old. It hit me right on the bone, so it wasn’t too bad.”
