Djokovic next up...
24 July, 2008 | 21:07
Andy will go up against the defending champion Novak Djokovic for a place in the semi-finals of the Rogers Cup.
Subject to weather conditions, the match will take place around midnight - 1am UK time, Friday.
After victory against the world No.10 Stan Wawrinka, this is another large step-up for Andy; to progress he'll have to reverse a 0-4 career ATP record against the world No. 3.
The Opponent

The World No. 3 and defending Rogers Cup champion: forget his early exit from Wimbledon, the Serb is still one of 2008's form players at No. 3 in the ATP Race.
Djokovic finds himself in the quarter-finals thanks to a 6-4 6-4 win over Robin Soderling, and Andy will need to be at his very best to make the semi-finals.
The Serb goes into this one with a 4-0 head-to-head advantage over Andy, winning in straight sets at the semi-final stages of both Indian Wells and Miami last year. More recently, he was a 6-0 6-4 winner on the clay in Monaco.
Tough match.
