Andy is through to the fourth round of the US Open after edging a thrilling five set match against Jurgen Melzer 6-7 (5-7) 4-6 7-6 (7-5) 6-1 6-3.
Andy found himself two points from a third-round exit before edging the third-set tie-break, taking it with a punched backhand down the line.
Racing through the fourth set, the crucial turning point came with a break at 3-3 in the decider; Andy winning the mental and physical battle that would ultimately give him victory.
It sets up a match against Stan Wawrinka on Monday.

Andy's View
"He was playing awesome, hitting the ball so hard and flat.
"It was so tough for me to get a rhythm, but I felt after the third set, the momentum was with me.
"My fitness is something I've worked so hard on. I've got a great team with me and I'm really enjoying working with them.
"Ideally, you'd rather not play matches of that length, but sometimes it happens. You've got to get through it."
