Andy is through to the final of the Farmers Classic in LA after a 6-0 1-6 6-4 win over 4th seed Feliciano Lopez.
He now plays defending champion Sam Querrey in Sunday’s final, after the American saved a match point en route to a 6-7(3), 7-6(5), 6-4 win over sixth-seeded Serbian Janko Tipsarevic.
“I played some really good stuff,” said Andy after the match. “I played some bad stuff, I played some good stuff; the match was pretty up and down. You’ve just to try and get through the matches, but when you haven’t played much you can’t expect to play great every point.”
