Andy takes on Feliciano Lopez for a place in the final of the Farmers Classic on Saturday in what is their first meeting on the Tour for over two years.
But the Spanish World No. 27 is no unknown quantity.
“I haven’t played him for a long time but we practice quite a lot and we know each others games quite well,” said Andy. “It’ll be a tough match.”
The two practiced together as recently as last week in Miami, so Andy knows what to expect of the match.
“He’s unpredictable. There’s periods of the match where he plays some great tennis and periods where he makes quite a few mistakes. You need to play a solid match, and when I get my chances I need to play good tennis.”
